Pretty Ricky is an African American rap and R&B group from Miami, Florida. The band is comprised of four brothers, Corey "Slick'em" Mathis, age 21, Diamond Blue "Baby Blue" Smith, age 22, Spectacular Blue Smith, age 20, and Marcus "Pleasure P" Cooper, age 21. Their debut album, Bluestars, was released on May 23, 2005 and features the hit U.S. top ten single, "Grind With Me." Then came their next two singles "Your Body" and "Juicy." Later, their fourth single "Nothin' But A Number" was released, but like "Juicy," a video was never made. In 2005, Pretty Ricky joined other R&B/hip-hop acts including Bow Wow and Omarion on the Scream 4 Tour. Members Slick 'Em, Spectacular, and Baby Blue were once known as the Maverix, alongside Prettie Rickie Rickie back in 1997. They released tracks like "Flossin'," "So Fresh So Clean," and "La La La," all of which were local hits in Miami. As Marcus was struggling making a name for his self on his own. Due to legal disputes, Slick, Spec, and Blue decided to drop the name "Maverix" and their band mate and brother, Prettie Rickie Rickie (Joseph Smith), and added their brother Marcus (Pleasure P) and later called themselves "Pretty Ricky."

Pretty Ricky finished their sophomore album "Late Night Special," which is to be released October 3rd. A new track titled "Pause" is said to make the cut. The first single off the album is "On The Hotline."
